Currently, I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Shopify, where I work on Polaris, our design system used by 100+ internal teams and thousands of third-party developers. I focus on design system architecture, token systems, and driving adoption through tooling and documentation that makes the system truly flourish (and LLM friendly).
In the past, I've had the opportunity to build and scale design systems across different contexts from founding systems at startups to contributing to enterprise platforms at IBM and Indeed. I've driven adoption to 90%+ across Shopify Admin, led token system refactors supporting major redesigns, and built accessible component libraries serving millions of users globally.

Lead technical initiatives advancing Polaris, Shopify's design system. Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers across the company to build scalable component solutions and establish patterns that balance consistency with product flexibility.
