Polaris React

Polaris React was Shopify’s React implementation of the Polaris design system, used across the admin to help teams build consistent and accessible interfaces.

I spent a lot of my time in the systems layer: building components, evolving the token system, supporting large migrations across the Shopify admin, and improving the tooling and infrastructure around the library.

The project is now deprecated in favor of Polaris Web Components, but it shaped how Shopify built shared UI foundations at scale and was a big part of my work in design systems and frontend platform engineering.
