Now

Updated April 2026. A snapshot of what I’m up to.

Recurse Center

Right now I’m in New York City at Recurse Center, spending my time learning to build more useful things for the web.

I’m treating it as a chance to follow curiosity, make things, and get sharper through practice especially around frontend systems, AI tools, creative coding, and the kinds of software that help people think and work better.

Building

I’m also tending to this site. It’s an experiment in treating writing and notes as first-class output (more digital garden than blog) and Recurse feels like a good backdrop for that.

A lot of what I’m learning right now is feeding directly into how I want this site to evolve: a place for notes, small experiments, and half-formed ideas that are worth sharing before they’re finished.

Elsewhere

Still slowly working on Parlé Pro, a small language learning app I made for myself. It’s inspired by the spaced repetition style of tools like Anki, but with built-in translations and common phrases.

Also reading slowly, and trying to write more than I consume.
